Contract | Night Shift | 36 or 48 hours per week | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver coordinated nursing care for an assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process
• Supervise and direct the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff
• Coordinate patient care with other disciplines and departments
• Utilize critical thinking, professional discretion, and independent judgment in clinical decision-making
• Support an Epic EMR conversion, performing accurate and thorough documentation within the system

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice
• Recent Epic and Cerner experience within the last 5 years; proficiency in both systems is required
• Each work history entry must identify the charting system used; if multiple EMR systems were used at one employer, dates must be provided to clarify when each system was used
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
• Acute care facility experience
