Schedule / Job TypeContract | 13-Week Assignment | Night Shift | 4x12-hour shifts per week (48 hours/week) | Every other weekend required
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in a telemetry setting during overnight shifts
- Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and telemetry data for assigned patients
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with physician orders and nursing standards
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Float within specialty and skillset as required by unit needs
Required Qualifications- Active RN license in North Carolina or a valid Compact State license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
- Ability and willingness to float within specialty and skillset
Preferred Experience / Skills- Prior experience in a telemetry or step-down unit setting
- Comfort working in a float pool environment across similar specialty areas
