Position: Registered Nurse – Telemetry $$SN$$
Location: Jeffersonville, Indiana
Shift: Days – 3x12s (6:45 AM – 7:15 PM)
Duration: 17 weeks
Job Duties
Provide safe, effective, patient- and family-centered nursing care to a designated group of patients.
Perform comprehensive assessments and reassessments according to patient condition and facility policies.
Develop, prioritize, implement, and revise individualized plans of care.
Monitor and document patient responses to clinical interventions.
Collaborate with patients, families, physicians, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
Provide and coordinate patient and family education throughout hospitalization and discharge.
Delegate appropriate tasks to licensed and non-licensed staff.
Serve as a mentor/preceptor and promote teamwork within the unit.
Participate in quality improvement, patient safety, evidence-based practice, and regulatory compliance initiatives.
Demonstrate sound clinical judgment and make independent decisions regarding patient care.
Document patient care accurately using Epic.
