Schedule / Job TypeContract – Travel | 13 Weeks | Full-Time | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Every Other Weekend | Onsite
Key Responsibilities- Provide total patient care for telemetry, stepdown, and medical-surgical patients in a 31-bed unit
- Monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry data and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
- Maintain a patient ratio of 1:4 to 1:5, delivering safe and effective nursing care throughout each shift
- Float to medical-surgical unit as needed based on staffing and census requirements
- Document all patient care activities accurately using Cerner EMR
- Adhere to all facility policies, dress code requirements, and infection control standards
Required Qualifications- Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications (all ALC modules must be completed)
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in telemetry, stepdown, or medical-surgical nursing
- Proficiency with total patient care delivery model
- Ability to work every other weekend as scheduled
- Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify as a travel nurse
Preferred Experience / Skills- Prior experience with Cerner EMR
- Previous travel nursing experience in a telemetry or stepdown setting
- Familiarity with float assignments across medical-surgical units
