Registered Nurse (RN) – Telemetry (Nights)

Key Responsibilities
Continuously monitor patients' vital signs and cardiac rhythms using automated telemetry and EKG equipment
Provide direct nursing care to acutely ill patients, including those stepping down from intensive care settings
Assess and manage patients with heart disease and other serious cardiac or medical conditions requiring close observation
Recognize and respond to changes in patient condition, initiating appropriate interventions in a timely manner
Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the electronic medical record system
Required Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Michigan
Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in a Telemetry setting
NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) training required
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
Preferred Experience / Skills
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
Experience with Cerner electronic medical records (EMR)
Background in a tertiary or teaching hospital environment
