    Registered Nurse (RN) – Telemetry (Nights)

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | Night Shift | Onsite

    Key Responsibilities
    • Continuously monitor patients' vital signs and cardiac rhythms using automated telemetry and EKG equipment
    • Provide direct nursing care to acutely ill patients, including those stepping down from intensive care settings
    • Assess and manage patients with heart disease and other serious cardiac or medical conditions requiring close observation
    • Recognize and respond to changes in patient condition, initiating appropriate interventions in a timely manner
    • Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
    • Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the electronic medical record system
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Michigan
    • Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in a Telemetry setting
    • NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) training required
    • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
    • Experience with Cerner electronic medical records (EMR)
    • Background in a tertiary or teaching hospital environment
