Contract | Travel | 12 Weeks | Nights | 5:45 PM – 6:15 AM | Schedule varies (Saturday, Sunday, Monday)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical / Telemetry unit with a 45-bed capacity
• Manage a patient ratio of 6:1, delivering safe and effective nursing care throughout the night shift
• Monitor and interpret telemetry readings, responding appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Provide wound care as part of the patient care plan when indicated
• Float to other units as required based on facility needs
• Document all patient care accurately using the MEDHOST electronic medical records system

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• PALS certification required (may be obtained at the facility)
• Minimum 1 year of experience in Medical Surgical, Telemetry, or Wound Care nursing
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience with MEDHOST EMR system
• Experience in a travel nursing or multi-facility float environment
• Familiarity with wound care protocols in an acute care setting
