Contract – Travel Assignment (13 Weeks) | Full-Time | Onsite | Day Shift (6:00 AM – 6:00 PM)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical / Telemetry unit serving a pediatric to geriatric patient population
- Monitor and interpret telemetry readings and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
- Maintain a patient ratio of 6:1 in a 45-bed unit environment
- Participate in on-call requirements as assigned
- Float to other units as needed per facility policy
- Document patient care accurately using the MEDHOST electronic medical records system
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum 1 year of experience in Medical Surgical, Telemetry, or Orthopedics
- Current BLS certification
- Current ACLS certification
- Current PALS certification
- NIHSS certification required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with MEDHOST EMR platform
- Comfort working with a broad patient population ranging from pediatric to geriatric
- Flexibility with block scheduling
