Registered Nurse – Telemetry

Meridian, ID

Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Day Shift (0700–1930) and Night Shift (1900–0730) available

• Provide direct patient care on a 27-bed Telemetry unit with a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Monitor and document telemetry readings every 6 hours using SpaceLab monitors (transitioning to Philips)
• Care for patients with diagnoses including CHF, NSTEMI, STEMI, stroke, sepsis, diabetes, CAD, renal failure, respiratory failure, and pneumothorax
• Manage post-cath lab patients, including experience with TR bands and Fem stops
• Administer and monitor set-rate cardiac drips including diltiazem and amiodarone
• Float to like units, Med/Surg, and potentially ICU (if experienced) as needed, including at sister facilities in the area

• Active RN license
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Telemetry RN
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Cardiac drip experience (set-rate diltiazem and amiodarone)
• NIH stroke assessment experience
• Post-cath recovery and chest tube experience

• Experience with TR bands and Fem stops for post-cath lab patient management
• ICU experience for potential float coverage
• Familiarity with Philips monitoring systems

• Work on a growing unit with strong support structures including charge nurses, house supervisors, nurse aides, and respiratory therapy managing CPAP, BiPAP, and high-flow equipment
• Weekend and holiday coverage opportunities available with flexibility for shift trades with peers
