Contract | Nights | 12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite

• Provide direct patient care on a 24-bed Telemetry unit with a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio, managing diagnoses including heart failure, COPD, sepsis, atrial fibrillation, pneumonia, stroke, detox, and suicidal holds.
• Monitor and sign off on telemetry strips using SpaceLabs monitoring equipment in collaboration with on-unit Telemetry Technicians.
• Manage patients on set-rate drip medications including Diltiazem, Heparin, Amiodarone, and Lidocaine.
• Oversee and coordinate care using a team nursing model, with the ability to serve in a lead RN role supporting other nurses with medication passes and patient care as needed.
• Collaborate with CNAs, Charge Nurses, and an on-site Administrative Supervisor available 24/7 to ensure safe, efficient patient care.
• Float to MedSurg within the same facility or to Telemetry units at other regional locations as needed.

• Active RN licensure in good standing.
• Minimum of 1 year of Telemetry nursing experience.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required.
• Ability to work weekends and holidays as needed.
• Strong team player with effective communication and collaboration skills.

• Experience as a travel nurse is welcome; first-time travelers are encouraged to apply.
• Familiarity with SpaceLabs telemetry monitoring systems.
• Experience working in a team nursing model or in a lead RN capacity.

• Work within a well-supported unit structure featuring a non-patient-carrying Charge Nurse, on-site 24/7 Administrative Supervision, and CNA support at a 1:8 ratio.
