Schedule / Job TypeContract | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Every third weekend | Every other holiday
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care on a Medical/Surgical Telemetry unit during night shift hours
- Monitor and interpret telemetry readings and respond to changes in patient condition
- Administer medications, treatments, and nursing interventions per physician orders
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in the medical record
Required Qualifications- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Iowa or compact licensure eligibility
- Current BLS certification
- Experience in a Medical/Surgical or Telemetry nursing setting
- Ability to work night shifts, every third weekend, and every other holiday
Preferred Experience / Skills- Prior telemetry monitoring experience and ability to interpret cardiac rhythms
- Experience in a critical access or community hospital environment
