Contract | Rotating Shifts | 12-Hour Shifts (7a–7p or 7p–7a) | Every other weekend and every other holiday required | On-call time is separate from standard scheduled hours
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care on a Medical-Surgical or Telemetry unit, maintaining established nurse-to-patient ratios
Monitor and interpret telemetry readings and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
Float between Medical-Surgical and Telemetry units as needed based on staffing requirements
Participate in self-scheduling while remaining flexible to fill open shifts as directed by scheduling leadership
Adhere to unit protocols for holiday and weekend coverage requirements
Required Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Massachusetts or compact eligibility
Minimum 2 years of Medical-Surgical RN experience
Ability to work rotating shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays

Preferred Experience / Skills
Prior Telemetry unit experience
Comfort floating between Medical-Surgical and Telemetry settings
Experience working in a self-scheduling environment
