Contract | Rotating Shifts | 12-Hour Shifts (7a–7p or 7p–7a) | Every other weekend and every other holiday required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical-Surgical or Telemetry unit, adhering to unit-specific patient ratios (Med-Surg: 5:1 days/evenings, 6:1 nights; Telemetry: 4:1 days/evenings, 5:1 nights)
• Float between Medical-Surgical and Telemetry units as needed based on staffing requirements
• Participate in self-scheduling while remaining flexible to fill open shifts as directed by scheduling coordinator
• Monitor and respond to telemetry readings and changes in patient condition
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to deliver safe, high-quality patient outcomes

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Massachusetts or compact eligibility
• Minimum 2 years of Medical-Surgical RN experience required
• Ability to work rotating shifts including nights, every other weekend, and every other holiday
• No more than 3 days of requested time off (RTO) during the assignment
• Expected hours: 72 hours biweekly (on-call hours not included in expected biweekly total)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior Telemetry nursing experience
• Familiarity with telemetry monitoring and cardiac rhythm interpretation
• Experience working in a float or multi-unit capacity
