Travel Registered Nurse – Telemetry (7p-7a)

Schedule / Job TypeContract | Travel | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | 13-Week Assignment | Full-Time (36 or 48 hours per week guaranteed)
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care on a Medical-Surgical Telemetry unit serving a primarily adult patient population
- Monitor and interpret telemetry readings, responding appropriately to changes in patient condition
- Maintain a patient assignment ratio of 1:6 with support from CNA and LPN staff
- Document patient care accurately and efficiently using MediTech EHR
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary care team to deliver individualized, high-quality patient care
- Float to other units within the facility as needed
Required Qualifications- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Iowa
- Minimum 1–2 years of Telemetry or Medical-Surgical Telemetry nursing experience
- Current BLS certification
- Handle With Care (HWC) certification
- Mandatory Reporter certification (Child and Adult)
- Ability to pass a 10-panel drug screening including opiates and complete all required background checks (criminal and child abuse) prior to start
Preferred Experience / Skills- Current ACLS certification
- Prior travel nursing experience
- Familiarity with MediTech electronic health records system
