Medical/Surgical Telemetry Registered Nurse

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 36 Hours/Week | Day/Evening/Night Rotating Shifts | Every Other Weekend

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 24-bed Medical Cardiology unit with a days ratio of 1:5 and a nights ratio of 1:6
• Interpret telemetry strips and perform cardiac drips
• Deliver post-catheterization care including PCI, ICD, PPM, and Ablation procedures
• Manage TR Band and femoral approach post-procedure care
• Apply telemetry and cardiology skills in a fast-paced cardiac environment

Required Qualifications

• Active Massachusetts Registered Nurse (RN) License
• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Minimum 2 years of experience with a strong cardiac background
• Demonstrated ability to interpret telemetry strips and perform cardiac drips
• Minimum 2 years of experience working as a travel nurse

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with post-cath care including PCI, ICD, PPM, and Ablation
• Familiarity with TR Band management and femoral approach techniques
• Prior experience in a Medical Cardiology unit setting
