Contract | 36 Hours per Week | Night Shift | Every Other Weekend

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 24-bed Medical Cardiology unit with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:6 on nights
• Interpret telemetry strips and monitor cardiac rhythms for assigned patients
• Perform and manage cardiac drips in accordance with unit protocols
• Deliver post-catheterization care including management of PCI, ICD, PPM, and Ablation patients
• Perform TR Band and femoral approach post-procedure care

Required Qualifications

• Active Massachusetts Registered Nurse (RN) License
• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
• Minimum 2 years of experience with a strong cardiac background
• Demonstrated ability to interpret telemetry strips and perform cardiac drips
• Minimum 2 years of experience working as a travel nurse

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with post-cath care procedures including PCI, ICD, PPM, and Ablation
• Familiarity with TR Band management and femoral approach techniques
• Background in Medical Cardiology unit settings
