Contract | Full-Time | Nights | 36 Hours per Week | Every Other Weekend | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 41-bed Medical Telemetry unit serving cardiac, respiratory, metabolic, psychiatric, substance use disorder, GU, and GI patient populations
• Interpret telemetry strips and monitor cardiac rhythms continuously
• Manage cardiac drips and administer high-flow oxygen therapy
• Apply and monitor TR bands as required by patient care needs
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation using EPIC EMR
• Float to applicable units as needed based on census and staffing requirements

Required Qualifications

• Current Massachusetts Registered Nurse (RN) license
• AHA-certified Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a single position and 2 years of travel nursing experience
• Demonstrated ability to interpret telemetry strips
• Proficiency with cardiac telemetry monitoring and cardiac drip management
• Experience with EPIC EMR

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a Medical/Surgical Telemetry setting with a diverse patient population
• Familiarity with high-flow oxygen therapy and TR band application
• Experience managing patients with psychiatric or substance use disorder diagnoses in an acute care environment
