Medical/Surgical Telemetry Registered Nurse – Nights & Every Other Weekend (36 hrs.)

Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care on a 41-bed Medical Telemetry unit serving a diverse patient population including cardiac, respiratory, metabolic, psychiatric, substance use disorder, GU, and GI patients
- Continuously monitor and interpret telemetry strips to identify and respond to cardiac rhythm changes
- Manage cardiac drips and administer medications in accordance with unit protocols
- Operate and monitor high-flow oxygen delivery systems and TR bands
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation using the EPIC electronic medical records system
- Float to applicable units as needed based on census and staffing requirements
Required Qualifications- Current Massachusetts Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
- AHA-certified Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a single Medical/Surgical Telemetry setting
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a travel nurse
- Demonstrated ability to read and interpret telemetry strips independently
- Proficiency with cardiac telemetry monitoring, cardiac drips, TR bands, and high-flow oxygen
Preferred Experience / Skills- Prior experience with EPIC EMR charting system
- Experience caring for patients with psychiatric or substance use disorder diagnoses in an acute care setting
