Travel Nurse RN - Telemetry in Salem, MA

Medical/Surgical Telemetry Registered Nurse (Nights)

Contract | 36 Hours per Week | Night Shift | Every Other Weekend Required | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 24-bed Medical Cardiology unit
• Interpret telemetry strips and monitor cardiac rhythms continuously
• Administer and manage cardiac drips per protocol
• Provide post-catheterization care including PCI, ICD, PPM, and ablation patients
• Perform TR Band management and care for patients with femoral approach access sites
• Maintain a patient assignment ratio of 1:6 on night shift

Required Qualifications

• Active Massachusetts Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience with a strong cardiac background
• Demonstrated ability to interpret telemetry strips
• Experience performing and managing cardiac drips

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with post-cath care procedures including PCI, ICD, PPM, and ablation
• Familiarity with TR Band application and femoral access site management
