Provide direct patient care on a telemetry unit during overnight shifts
Monitor and assess patients requiring telemetry surveillance and intervene as clinically appropriate
May be required to float to like units or lower acuity units across multiple campuses within the health system as needed (excluding the ED)
Expected to work 4 weekend shifts per 4-week cycle and at least one holiday, including the holiday weekend
Complete assigned non-billable online modules by the required deadline each week
Required Qualifications
Active California RN license in hand at time of submission (Temporary or Permanent; no EMSA)
AHA BLS certification required
NIHSS certification required
Minimum 2+ years of concurrent experience in Telemetry
Travel nursing experience required
EPIC experience, or combined EPIC/Cerner experience, within the last 6 months of work history required
Must live more than 100 miles from the facility to be eligible; candidates who have been on assignment in the San Diego area for the last 9 or more months are considered local and are not eligible
Maximum 7 days of requested time off; no new RTO requests after submission
1 supervisory-level reference required at time of submission
Valid copies of all required certifications (and Nursys verification for RNs) must be submitted with application
Preferred Experience / Skills
Experience floating across multiple hospital campuses or care settings
Familiarity with EPIC electronic health records in an acute care environment
Experience working in a large, multi-campus health system
