Contract | Travel | Full-Time | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | 13-Week Assignment | On-Site

• Provide routine and complex nursing care independently, utilizing the nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation for assigned patients.
• Administer medications and treatments per appropriate protocol; monitor for side effects and effectiveness of prescribed treatment plans.
• Address complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families in accordance with scope of practice.
• Document patient history, symptoms, medications administered, and care provided accurately and thoroughly.
• Assess patient and family learning needs; provide education and identify appropriate resources to support care.
• Make appropriate assignments and delegate to other care providers as needed to effectively manage the clinical situation.

• Active RN license in the state of Texas or a valid Compact RN license.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required – American Heart Association (AHA) only.
• Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required – American Heart Association (AHA) only.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a Telemetry or Acute Med-Surg nursing specialty.
• Ability to complete new hire orientation and organizational entry competency validation within required timeframes.

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Prior experience in an Intermediate Care (IMC) or step-down unit setting.
• Familiarity with competency tracking software used in clinical onboarding programs.
