Position: Registered Nurse – Telemetry (Tele) $$SN$$
Location: Scottsburg, Indiana
Shift: Nights – 3x12s (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM), every other weekend
Duration: 13 weeks
Job Duties
Provide safe, effective, patient- and family-centered care to acute care telemetry patients.
Perform comprehensive patient assessments and reassessments based on patient condition and established policies.
Develop, prioritize, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans.
Monitor and document patient responses to clinical interventions.
Monitor telemetry and recognize changes in patient condition requiring timely intervention.
Administer medications and treatments according to orders, policies, and patient needs.
Provide patient and family education regarding treatment, medications, and discharge planning.
Collaborate with physicians, patients, families, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
Delegate tasks appropriately and provide mentorship and support to other staff.
Participate in quality improvement, patient safety, and service initiatives.
Maintain compliance with regulatory standards and organizational policies.
