Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM | Every Other Weekend and Every Other Holiday

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive, quality patient care to patients of all ages utilizing the nursing process in a 30-bed Telemetry unit with a patient ratio of 1:5 to 1:6
• Monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry data, incorporating competencies specific to the care of the cardiac patient
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes using Cerner EMR
• Float as needed to Med/Surg and remote Telemetry units
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to support patient education and individualized care planning

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Pennsylvania or compact state eligibility
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• NIHSS certification required
• Minimum 1–2 years of Telemetry and/or Step-Down experience required
• Willingness and ability to float to Med/Surg and remote Telemetry

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Cerner EMR
• Prior travel nursing experience in a Telemetry or Step-Down setting
• Familiarity with blocked scheduling practices
