Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | Nights (19:00–07:00) | 13–26 weeks | Expected 36 or 48 hours/week

Key Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to perform direct patient care activities for all age groups, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Monitor and coordinate patient care activities with ancillary departments to optimize patient care and comfort
• Demonstrate experience and competence in drug titration
• Evaluate the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers and maintain professional accountability
• Maintain patient rights and confidentiality of patient information at all times
• Float to other units on a rotational basis as required

Required Qualifications

• Current RN License — must meet eligibility criteria for licensure in Missouri or currently hold Missouri RN licensure
• BLS certification from AHA only
• 4 trauma credits required — must be completed within the first two weeks of assignment if not already obtained at time of submission
• NIHSS certification — may be submitted without, but must be obtained prior to start
• Minimum 1 year of inpatient telemetry experience
• Flu vaccination or approved exemption required November 1 – April 1; declinations are not accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• ACLS certification from AHA only
• Inpatient trauma experience
• Familiarity with EPIC EMR
• Determined, decisive, and flexible personality well-suited to a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
