    Job Title

    Travel RN – Cardiac Telemetry (Night Shift)

    Location

    Springfield, MO | Inpatient

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | 13-Week Assignment | Expected 36 or 48 hours/week

    Key Responsibilities
    • Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care for cardiac and medical-surgical patient populations across all age groups
    • Monitor and coordinate patient care activities with ancillary departments to optimize patient outcomes and comfort
    • Maintain professional accountability for provision of care and evaluate the overall effectiveness of care delivered by other direct caregivers
    • Perform drug titration and operate unit equipment including Alaris pumps, telemetry monitors, and lift equipment
    • Float on a rotational basis as required by the unit
    • Maintain compliance with flu vaccination requirements from November 1 through April 1; declinations are not accepted
    Required Qualifications
    • Current RN license — must meet eligibility criteria for licensure in the state of Missouri or hold an active Missouri RN license
    • BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) required
    • NIHSS certification required prior to start date (submissions accepted without, but must be obtained before assignment begins)
    • Minimum 1 year of inpatient Cardiac Telemetry experience
    • Demonstrated competence in drug titration
    • Proficiency with EPIC EMR
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • ACLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA)
    • Additional cardiac nursing experience beyond the minimum requirement
    • Determined, decisive, and flexible personality well-suited to a fast-paced cardiac environment
