    Job Title

    Travel RN – Med Surg / Telemetry Short Stay (Nights, 4x12)

    Location

    Saint Louis, MO

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | Travel | Night Shift | 4x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | 13-week assignment | 48 guaranteed hours per week

    Key Responsibilities
    • Perform direct patient care activities for adult patients including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation across a mixed Medical/Telemetry unit (approximately 50% Medical, 50% Telemetry)
    • Monitor and coordinate patient care activities with ancillary departments to optimize patient care and comfort
    • Maintain patient ratios of approximately 4–6:1 and utilize standard telemetry unit equipment and EPIC EMR
    • Float as needed to similar or lower acuity units
    • Work every other full weekend (Saturday and Sunday) as required and at least one major winter holiday (Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year's Day)
    • Participate in a full week of orientation on day shift prior to beginning night shift assignment
    Required Qualifications
    • Current RN license meeting eligibility requirements for licensure in the state of Missouri, or currently licensed in Missouri
    • Minimum 2+ years of Telemetry nursing experience
    • BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA)
    • ACLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA)
    • NIHSS certification
    • Flu vaccination (or facility-approved exemption) required November 1 – April 1; declinations are not accepted
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience with EPIC EMR
    • Demonstrated team-player mentality with a focus on positive patient outcomes and superior communication skills
