Travel RN – Med Surg / Telemetry Short Stay (Nights, 4x12)

Key Responsibilities
- Perform direct patient care activities for all age groups including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
- Monitor and coordinate patient care activities with ancillary departments to optimize patient outcomes and comfort
- Provide care on a mixed Medical Surgical and Telemetry unit serving adult patients (approximately 50% Medical / 50% Telemetry)
- Maintain patient ratios of approximately 4–6:1 and utilize EPIC EMR for documentation
- Float as needed to similar or lower acuity units
- Function within the scope of nursing practice consistent with the Missouri Nurse Practice Act and established nursing guidelines
Required Qualifications
- Current RN license; must be eligible for or currently hold licensure in the state of Missouri
- Minimum 2 years of Telemetry nursing experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association (AHA) only
- NIHSS certification required
- Flu vaccination required (November 1 – April 1); declinations are not accepted
- Must be available for a full week of day-shift orientation prior to beginning night shift

- Experience with EPIC electronic medical records system
