    Travel Registered Nurse – Telemetry

    Location

    Thornton, Colorado

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Full-Time | Days | 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | Onsite

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care on an 18-bed Telemetry unit with a 5:1 RN-to-patient ratio
    • Perform neurovascular checks on limbs, frequent ambulation, and repositioning of patients
    • Manage orthopedic precautions and comprehensive pain control for a diverse patient population
    • Care for patients presenting with trauma, orthopedic injuries, chest pain, stroke workups, CHF, Afib, RVR, TBIs, and spinal cord injuries
    • Utilize GE wireless telemetry equipment, Welch Allyn vital sign machines, and Meditech EMR
    • Collaborate with a charge nurse, fellow RNs, and Patient Care Technicians across day shift operations
    Required Qualifications
    • Minimum 1 year of current acute care Telemetry RN experience
    • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
    • Current BLS certification
    • Current ACLS certification
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
    • Trauma and/or orthopedic nursing experience
    • Neuro and/or stroke nursing experience
