Travel Registered Nurse – Telemetry
Location
Thornton, Colorado

Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Full-Time | Days | 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care on an 18-bed Telemetry unit with a 5:1 RN-to-patient ratio
Perform neurovascular checks on limbs, frequent ambulation, and repositioning of patients
Manage orthopedic precautions and comprehensive pain control for a diverse patient population
Care for patients presenting with trauma, orthopedic injuries, chest pain, stroke workups, CHF, Afib, RVR, TBIs, and spinal cord injuries
Utilize GE wireless telemetry equipment, Welch Allyn vital sign machines, and Meditech EMR
Collaborate with a charge nurse, fellow RNs, and Patient Care Technicians across day shift operations
Required Qualifications
Minimum 1 year of current acute care Telemetry RN experience
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
Current BLS certification
Current ACLS certification
Preferred Experience / Skills
NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
Trauma and/or orthopedic nursing experience
Neuro and/or stroke nursing experience
