Registered Nurse – Medical/Surgical (Telemetry)

Location

Warner Robins, GA

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3x12-hour shifts (36 hours/week) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Medical/Surgical setting with a strong focus on orthopedic and surgical patient populations
• Perform telemetry interpretation and continuous cardiac monitoring
• Perform IV insertions and PICC line management
• Document patient care accurately using Meditech electronic health records
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes

Required Qualifications

• Active Georgia RN license or valid Compact RN license (must be in hand at time of submission)
• Minimum 18 months of Registered Nurse experience in a Medical/Surgical setting
• Demonstrated experience in telemetry interpretation
• Proficiency in IV insertion and PICC line care
• Experience with Meditech charting system
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (required to start)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Strong orthopedic and/or surgical nursing background
• Prior travel or contract nursing experience
