Registered Nurse – Telemetry

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Full-Time | Days | Weekend Rotation (Every Third Weekend)

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and interpret telemetry data and cardiac rhythms for assigned patients
• Deliver direct patient care in accordance with established nursing standards and protocols
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered, documenting all interventions accurately
• Assess, report, and respond to changes in patient condition in a timely manner

Required Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Iowa or compact licensure eligibility
• Current BLS certification required
• Prior experience in a Telemetry or step-down unit setting
• Ability to read and interpret cardiac monitor rhythms

Preferred Experience / Skills

• ACLS certification preferred
• Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems
• Strong critical thinking and communication skills in a fast-paced clinical environment
