Contract | Night Shift | Every Other Weekend / Every Other Holiday

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess patients on a telemetry unit, interpreting cardiac rhythms and responding to changes in patient condition
• Administer medications, treatments, and nursing interventions in accordance with physician orders and established protocols
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in the electronic health record
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment plans, and discharge instructions

Required Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Iowa or compact licensure
• Current BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
• Demonstrated experience in telemetry or cardiac monitoring
• Ability to work night shifts, every other weekend, and every other holiday

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a telemetry or step-down unit setting
• Familiarity with electronic health record systems
• Strong critical thinking and communication skills in a fast-paced environment
