Travel Registered Nurse – Telemetry

Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Days | Full-Time | Onsite | 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | Projected Start: August 24, 2026
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a 37-bed Surgical/Telemetry unit with a 1:6 nurse-to-patient ratio (1:4 for Heart Cath patients)
- Manage and monitor patients requiring telemetry, including Heart Cath recovery and bubble studies
- Operate and manage equipment including PCA pumps, IV pumps, and chest tubes
- Assist with central line care and administration of medication drips
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including Patient Care Techs and Unit Clerks
- Document patient care accurately using the Meditech EMR system
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
- Minimum 1 year of current acute care Telemetry experience
- Current BLS certification
- Current ACLS certification
- Ability to work independently with strong critical thinking skills
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel nursing experience at large teaching facilities
- Previous experience with Meditech EMR
- Positive, engaged attitude with the ability to adapt quickly to new environments
