Registered Nurse – Medical-Surgical (Telemetry)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 8-Week Assignment | Full-Time | Days | 12-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | Onsite | Float Position | Expected 72 hours biweekly (excluding any on-call time worked)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical-Surgical Telemetry unit, monitoring cardiac rhythms and responding to changes in patient condition
• Float across units as assigned to meet census and staffing needs
• Accurately document all patient care activities and clinical findings using Epic EMR
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Adhere to facility policies, scheduling requirements, and time-off guidelines, including a maximum of three days of requested time off and no holiday time-off approvals

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Massachusetts
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience in a Medical-Surgical or Telemetry setting
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Current BLS certification required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a float pool or multi-unit nursing role
• Familiarity with telemetry monitoring and cardiac rhythm interpretation
• Strong adaptability and ability to transition between units and patient populations
