Certifications/Licenses:

Required: Diploma of Nursing
Preferred : BSN
Required Certifications & Licensure:
- Ohio RN license or Compact.
- BLS (American Heart Assoc.)
- ACLS (American Heart Assoc.)

Mandatory Experience:

RN Telemetry Stepdown
Shift: 8 weeks, Nights and every other weekend
Stepdown Float: floating to CVSU, Cardiopulmonary, Heart and Vascular Step Down, Comp Med Step down, and Cardiology Tele Step down
Required: 2+ years stepdown experience, experience with cardiac drips (amiodarone, Lasix, Cardizem, Dopamine, Dobutamine, milrinone, etc.) must know how to interpret heart rhythms
Preferred: experience with VAD, care of post open heart, cath, vascular surgery, and cardiac patients
