Travel Nurse RN - Trauma Intensive Care Unit - $2,011 per week in Indianapolis, IN

Job Title: RN Neuro/Trauma ICU Profession: RN Specialty: Neuro/Trauma ICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00 PM - 07:30 AM Hours per Shift: 12.5 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years recent ICU experience required License: RN Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH Certification Must-Have: Experience in critical care settings Description: Join our team of highly skilled and dedicated RNs. Our staff is trained in caring for critically ill trauma, neuro, and surgical patients. We operate a 24-bed Trauma Neuro Intensive Care Unit. Care includes managing blunt force and penetrating injuries. Conditions treated encompass abdominal, maxillofacial, orthopedic, and thoracic trauma. We also address ischemic and hemorrhagic strokes, aneurysms, brain tumors, seizures, and traumatic brain and spinal cord injuries. Surgical care includes complex spine and abdominal surgeries, head and neck, and specialty OB/GYN procedures. Advanced hemodynamic monitoring, massive transfusion, ICP monitoring, brain tissue oxygenation, ventricular drains, and continuous dialysis are part of our services. We adhere to a 2:1 patient-to-nurse ratio. Expect to work every other weekend and on holidays or hard-to-fill shifts as needed. Royal blue scrubs are required. Experience in a Level 1 Trauma Center and Stroke Center for Excellence is an advantage.
