Job Description
We are seeking an experienced RN – Urology to join a leading healthcare facility in New York, NY. The ideal candidate will have strong ambulatory urology experience and be confident assisting with prostate procedures while delivering exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
- Provide comprehensive nursing care in an ambulatory urology setting.
- Assist with urology and prostate-related procedures.
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans and post-procedure care.
- Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
- Accurately document patient care using Epic EMR.
- Ensure compliance with patient safety and quality standards.
Required Qualifications
- Active New York RN License
- BSN required
- BLS (AHA) certification
- Minimum 2 years of Urology RN experience
- Minimum 1 year of recent travel nursing experience
- Ambulatory care experience
- Prostate procedure experience (Required)
- Epic EMR experience preferred
