Job Summary
Wound Care Registered Nurse (RN) Rhinelander, WI. This outpatient procedural department requires a dedicated RN with wound and ostomy experience to provide specialized wound care services. The position involves developing and executing plan of care, performing inpatient and emergency department consultations, and maintaining a high standard of patient care.

Job Details

• Certifications: WI or compact RN license, AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS). Wound and ostomy certification or extensive work in wound/ostomy clinic preferred.
• Education: Associate Degree or Certificate.
• Location: Rhinelander, WI.
• Years of Experience: 2 years in wound care or certified wound/ostomy specialist.
• Schedule: Day shift, 9 hours per day, four days a week, from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM. Guaranteed minimum hours per week: 40.
• Additional Information: Outpatient procedural department, with active patient care developing plans of care and performing consultations. Daily caseload averages 8-9 visits per RN with CNA assistance. Responsibilities include topical wound care, compression wraps, wound VACs, total contact casting, conservative sharp wound debridement, ostomy pouching system changes, and peristomal skin breakdown treatment.
• Submission Requirements: Candidates must hold a valid WI or compact RN license and meet the minimum experience in wound care or certification criteria.
