Travel Nurse RN - Wound/Ostomy - $2,095 per week in Clinton, MD

Job Title: Wound Care RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Wound Care Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (07:30 - 16:00) Experience: 3 years required, travel experience required License: Registered Nurse License required Certifications: BLS, WCC required; ACLS and WOCN preferred Must-Have: - Client experience required - Charge experience preferred - Experience with Cerner charting system required - Patient ratio experience of 1:6 Description: We are seeking a Wound Care Registered Nurse. This position involves Monday to Friday shifts with one Saturday shift per month. The nurse will assess and manage pressure injuries, including new and chronic conditions. Experience with special equipment such as wound vacs is preferred. Candidates must be skilled in wound and ulcer assessment and management. The role includes seeing routine pressure injuries and dermatologic conditions. Every third weekend and every other holiday are required. The facility mandates that all employees receive the Flu vaccine. This position requires skills in various wound care techniques and patient education. Strong teamwork with interdisciplinary support services is expected. Candidates should have experience in patient teaching and management.
