Description:
The Registered Nurse will manage and coordinate patient care with a focus on wound management.
The nurse will treat a minimum of 5 to 15 patients per day, depending on daily needs.
Common diagnoses include ostomies, draining wounds, pressure ulcers, vascular ulcers, and diabetic ulcerations.
Nursing duties involve identification, assessment, prevention, and continuing education.
Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams is essential for effective patient care.
Documentation and adherence to established standards and timelines are required.
The nurse will assist with discharge planning for wound care supplies and education.
Floating to other facilities may be required based on operational needs.
No weekend or holiday shift requirements.
There is no standby or call requirement.
The facility utilizes EPIC for charting.
