Job Title: Wound Care RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Wound Care Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (08:00 - 16:30) Experience: Minimum 2 years of wound care experience required License: Current RN license Certifications: BLS, WOCN Must-Have: Certification in one of the following: CWOCN, CWON, CWCN Description: The Wound Care RN is responsible for assessing and managing patients with wounds. The nurse will provide wound care consults to various units as needed. Floating between facilities may be required to ensure coverage. Candidates must have experience with wound care charting systems, preferably Epic. This position involves providing patient education and managing various types of wounds. You will be part of an interdisciplinary team focused on optimal patient outcomes. Knowledge of infection control practices and wound assessment tools is essential. The role requires excellent communication and patient care skills. A commitment to continuous learning and professional development is expected. Candidates must adhere to safety and compliance standards in all practices. Strong organizational skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are necessary.
