Emergency Room (ER) Registered Nurse (RN)

Join a fast-paced Emergency Department caring for patients across the lifespan, from pediatric to geriatric populations. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced ER travel nurses who thrive in high-acuity, Level I Trauma environments and are comfortable managing a wide variety of emergency conditions.

Requirements

• Active California RN License
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, CPI
• TNCC or ATCN
• NIHSS Certification
• Minimum 4 years of recent Emergency Department experience
• Level I Trauma experience required
• Minimum 2 years of travel nursing experience
• Experience in an acute care hospital with 40+ ED beds
• Some pediatric emergency experience required
• Epic experience highly preferred
• Must live 50+ miles from the facility
• Maximum 8 days RTO

Responsibilities

• Assess, prioritize, and manage patients with urgent and emergent conditions.
• Administer medications and treatments following evidence-based practice.
• Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary team using SBAR communication.
• Monitor patient response, provide education, and coordinate admissions and discharges.
• Deliver safe, compassionate care while maintaining accurate Epic documentation.
