This 15-week Registered Nurse assignment offers 12-hour night shifts, 36 hours per week, EPIC charting, and the opportunity to work with a collaborative women’s health care team.

- Weekend Rotation: Every 3rd weekend
- Holiday Rotation: Every other holiday
- Charting System: EPIC
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,400 - $2,530
Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in Illinois, or confirmation that the application process has been initiated
- Relevant nursing experience in Labor & Delivery, OB acute, postpartum, or a closely related women’s health setting preferred
- BLS (AHA) certification required
- NRP certification required
- Strong postpartum assessment and newborn care experience
- Ability to titrate ordered drips such as insulin or heparin when clinically indicated
- Comfortable working 12-hour night shifts and rotating weekends/holidays
- Ability to adapt to a dynamic unit and support floating within related women’s and family birthing care areas
- ACLS, lactation education/support experience, and Level 2 nursery experience are preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, compassionate care to postpartum mothers and newborn infants
- Perform nursing assessments and monitor patient condition throughout the shift
- Support Labor & Delivery workflows, including recovery and triage as needed
- Assist with titration of drips according to provider orders and unit protocols
- Collaborate with charge nurses, house supervisors, and the broader care team to ensure safe patient care
- Float within the family birthing center and related women’s care areas as assigned
- Document accurately in EPIC and maintain timely communication with the care team
- Promote a calm, family-centered experience for patients and newborns
