Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to patients throughout Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum (LDRP) settings
• Perform triage assessments and support labor and delivery processes including circulating and C-section assistance
• Deliver newborn care and postpartum couplet care to mothers and infants
• Collaborate with the obstetric care team to support safe and compassionate maternal and neonatal outcomes
• Monitor and respond to patient conditions, including dysrhythmia recognition on the floor

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of OB/GYN nursing experience
• High proficiency in LDRP, including Labor, Triage, Delivery, Circulating, C-Sections, Newborn Care, and Postpartum Couplet Care
• Active Michigan RN License (verified Active status required)
• Active American Heart Association BLS certification
• Active American Heart Association ACLS certification
• Active NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
• Active AWHONN certification
• Must pass a dysrhythmia test prior to working on the floor
• COVID-19 vaccination required (exemptions considered)
• Must have personal vehicle available for this assignment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• STABLE Program certification
• Experience in a high-volume birth center or family birth place setting
