Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position on nights requiring at least 2 years of OB/GYN experience and an active MI license.

Details

• Family Birth Place unit specializing in Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum care
• Night shift, 12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Every third weekend required, with holidays as scheduled
• No routine on-call, though voluntary time off during low census may require on-call availability

Requirements

• Active RN license required (MI license, compact not accepted)
• Minimum 2 years of OB/GYN experience required
• High proficiency in LDRP care including Labor, Triage, Delivery, Circulating, C-Sections, Newborn Care, and Postpartum Couplet Care
• STABLE certification preferred
• Current certifications required: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), NRP, and AWHONN
• Skills checklist current within 1 year pertinent to specialty required
• Two supervisory reference forms completed within the last two years required
• COVID vaccine required, with exemptions allowed

Additional Information

• Provide compassionate Labor, Delivery, and Recovery care to new mothers and their families in a home-like setting
• Support mothers and invite partners or support persons throughout the maternity and delivery experience
• Facility provides scrubs for dress code
• No more than 5 days of requested time off will be accepted for this assignment, and all RTO must be submitted and verified prior to upload
• Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility will not be considered
