Malone Healthcare - Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Mauston, Wisconsin.

Labor & Delivery / Mother-Baby RN
Shift & Schedule
- Night Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
- Schedule:6 × 12-hour shifts per pay period (approximately 36 hours/week)
- Weekend Rotation: Every 3rd weekend
Requirements
- Wisconsin RN License
- Associate Degree in Nursing required (BSN preferred)
- AHA BLS within 1 month of hire
- NRP within 6 months of hire
- ALSO within 1 year of hire
- STABLE within 1 year of hire
- Intermediate Fetal Monitoring within 1 year of hire
Position Summary
Provides comprehensive nursing care to laboring mothers, postpartum patients, and newborns while collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to ensure safe, family-centered care.
Key Responsibilities
- Labor assessment and progression monitoring
- Triage obstetric patients
- Labor induction and cervical ripening
- Fetal heart monitoring and interpretation
- Management of OB emergencies (PPH, prolapsed cord, uterine rupture, placental complications, breech delivery, meconium, etc.)
- Newborn assessment and stabilization
- Neonatal resuscitation within certification
- Management of neonatal hypoglycemia, hypothermia, jaundice, and sepsis
- Patient and family education
- Timely communication with providers regarding changes in patient condition
Skills Preferred
- Strong labor & delivery and postpartum nursing skills
- Thorough understanding of OB triage
- Excellent communication and critical thinking
- Computer proficiency
