**Join Our Passionate Team as a Night Shift OB RN!** **Job Description:** - Are you ready to make a transformative impact on the lives of maternal and newborn patients? - As a Registered Nurse (RN) in our vibrant OB unit, you'll provide exceptional nursing care and collaborate with a dedicated team of professionals in a nurturing environment. - Be a vital part of an organization that embodies a caring philosophy in every aspect of patient care! **Essential Job Duties:** - Complete thorough nursing histories and assess patients' conditions to create individualized care plans. - Triage patient care based on symptoms efficiently. - Administer medications accurately and safely. - Assess labor progression and manage induction and cervical ripening. - Handle medical emergencies with competence, including: - Prolapsed cord - Breech delivery - Postpartum hemorrhage - Precipitous delivery - Uterine rupture - Management of meconium, abruptio placenta, and placenta previa. - Conduct and interpret fetal heart monitoring with precision. - Address pregnancy-related concerns such as hypertension and diabetes. - Assess newborns' conditions and recognize when heightened surveillance is needed. - Perform neonatal resuscitation within your scope of practice. - Identify and manage neonatal sepsis effectively. - Monitor newborns for potential adverse events, such as: - Hypoglycemia - Hypothermia - Jaundice - Promote patient education and engage families in newborn care. - Communicate effectively with the patient care team and promptly alert providers of changes in patient status. - Perform additional duties as requested. **Required Qualifications:** - Two-year degree in nursing required; four-year degree in nursing preferred. - Must hold and maintain a Wisconsin Registered Nursing license. - AHA BLS certification required within 1 month of hire. - NRP certification required within 6 months of hire. - ALCO certification required within 1 year of hire. - STABLE certification required within 1 year of hire. - Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certification required within 1 year of hire. - Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail are essential. **Shift Information:** - Part-Time, 2 - 12 hour shifts per week, Night shift from 1900 to 0730. - Weekend rotation required. - Holiday coverage mandatory. **Minimum Years of Experience:** - Less than 1 year. **Certifications / Requirements:** - BLS/BCLS - NRP **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** - At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country. - Enjoy competitive pay, seamless onboarding, and a supportive recruiter who’s with you every step of the way. - Join us — where your expertise makes a difference every day!Catalytic Solutions Job ID #18889469.
