- Assist in obstetric procedures and surgeries as part of the OB team
- Prepare and maintain sterile surgical instruments and equipment
- Monitor patients during labor and delivery, ensuring safety and comfort
- Collaborate with nurses and physicians to provide excellent patient care
- Document patient information accurately using Cerner charting system
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an OB Tech
- Current BLS certification required
- CST (Certified Surgical Technologist) certification required
- Ability to work night shifts and every other weekend
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of obstetric surgical instruments and sterile techniques
- Proficiency in Cerner charting system
- Understanding of acute care settings and obstetric procedures
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
