Job Details:
Position: OB Tech (Surgical Services – Labor & Delivery) $$SN$$
Location: Santa Monica, California
Shift: Nights – 3x12s (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
Duration: 13 Weeks
Assist physicians during C-sections, vaginal deliveries, and other obstetrical surgical procedures.
Prepare and maintain sterile fields using aseptic technique.
Set up, organize, and manage obstetrical case trays and surgical instruments.
Assist with gynecological procedures including D&Cs, abdominal hysterectomies, and anterior/posterior repairs.
Prepare case carts and ensure equipment and supplies are available for procedures.
Perform equipment documentation and assist with sterilization and disinfection of surgical instruments.
Support Labor & Delivery and Operating Room teams during emergency and scheduled procedures.
Document patient care and procedural activities according to facility standards.
