Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a fast-paced Observation/Telemetry unit position requiring at least 1 year of travel nursing experience and a FL or compact RN license.

Details

  • Work in a fast-paced, 24-bed telemetry Observation Unit that serves as an extension of the Emergency Room
  • Care for a short-stay patient population presenting with hypertensive urgency, stroke work-ups, titratable cardiac drips, acute infections, cardiac work-ups, and ESRD
  • Night shift schedule from 18:45-07:15
  • Every other weekend required
  • Holiday coverage required per unit need
  • 36-48 hour contracts acceptable

Requirements

  • Active FL or compact RN license required
  • BLS certification required (must be AHA)
  • Minimum 1 year of travel nursing experience required
  • Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start
  • Current license and primary source verification required within 30 days prior to start

Additional Information

  • Deliver compassionate, clinically strong nursing care to a short-stay observation population
  • Must have a US Social Security Number and provide a US home address
  • Radius rule applies, allowing local candidates at a reduced rate depending on location
  • Discuss contract extension with management approximately 45 days before assignment end date
