Job Summary:
Occupational Therapist Outpatient (OT OP) Lebanon, New Hampshire. This inpatient adult psychiatric rehabilitation position involves evaluating and treating adult patients in an inpatient setting. The role emphasizes goal-directed therapy, discharge planning, patient education, and collaboration with the healthcare team to promote optimal patient recovery.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (OT), BLSEvaluates and treats admitted adult psych patients on the inpatient unit.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience working with adult psychiatric patients is preferred.
  • Additional Information: Evaluates, determines prognosis, provides intervention, and reports findings to other health care team members. Collaborates with the team to promote optimum patient rehabilitation. Provides discharge recommendations, exercise programs, and family teaching. Participates in departmental programs such as in-service education, student programs, volunteer/observation programs, and the Professional Practice Committee. Assists patients in organizing daily activities, teaching stress management and coping skills, addressing physical impairments, developing protocols for therapy groups, and facilitating self-regulation techniques. Utilizes evidence-based assessment tools, delegates tasks to support personnel, and performs other duties as assigned.
