Occupational Therapist (Allied)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our team. This role is essential in providing comprehensive care to acute care patients based on physician orders throughout a hospital setting. The Occupational Therapist will support a wide variety of medical and surgical diagnoses, including ICU patients, strokes/neurological conditions, orthopedics, and general debility.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and develop treatment plans for patients based on their specific needs and conditions.
• Collaborate with medical staff to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Document patient progress and treatment outcomes using Cerner charting.
• Provide therapy to patients in various settings, including the ICU.
• Adapt therapeutic techniques to meet individual patient needs.
• Support patients in achieving their therapeutic goals and improving their functional abilities.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in occupational therapy within a specialty.
• Valid Occupational Therapist license in Georgia.
• Current AHA BLS certification.

Work Schedule

The schedule varies from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, including four weekend shifts every four weeks and one summer holiday.

Contract Length

This position is for a duration of 13 weeks.

The position is available in a facility located in Georgia.
